Second Guerilla Group Claims Responsibility for Togo Football Team Attack. (France 24)
A second separatist group in the troubles oil-rich region of Cabinda has claimed responsibility for the attacks which left two of Togo’s team dead. The group calling itself Front for the Liberation of the Enclave of Cabinda-Armed Forces of Cabinda (FLEC-FAC) says they did not mean to cause harm to the Togolese team, they were not their target. The group was targeting the Angolan military which it fires at anytime they are seen.
Front for the Liberation of the Enclave of Cabinda-Armed Forces of Cabinda says the first Liberation of the State of Cabinda-Military Position (FLEC-PM) faction who claimed responsibility for the attacks are only opportunists.
